His innovative approach earned him the title of RAW Austin’s Photographer of the Year in 2011 and continues to shape his exploration of landscapes, cultures, and people around the world.

Recent accolades include Second Place at the 2023 High and Dry: A Photographic Exhibition of Peoples and Places of the World’s Dry Lands for his piece The Mighty Matriarch – Omo River Valley, Ethiopia. His work has also been exhibited at Decode Gallery in Tucson, Arizona.
